After a high-scoring draw in the first Test, both teams will be eager for a win to clinch the Test series in Lahore.

Pakistan captain Younus Khan fears Sri Lanka will come out fighting to give their captain Mahela Jayawardene a winning farewell in the second Test.

The 31-year-old touring captain steps down from captaincy after this match -- a factor Younus said would motivate the tourists to lift their game. "We are aware of it and this being Mahela's last Test, he and his team may come down hard on us. But we will focus on our strength and our planning," said Younus on Saturday.

Younus said his team respected the Sri Lankan captain but would not be overawed. "He has had a good record and has earned more respect in the last couple of years. I asked him to give him a guard of honour but he politely turned it down. But the respect will not overawe us, we will try to win this match," said Younus.

The newly-appointed Pakistan captain played down the hype around the pitch after the first Test ended in draw on a batsman-friendly strip.

"The pitch looks nice and bouncy," said Younus of the Gaddafi Stadium pitch which has grass on top. It is necessary that we have result-oriented pitches, especially in Pakistan where there's not much international cricket."

Team News:
Pakistan retained the same 15-man squad for the second Test as well but the only likely change would be replacing Sohail Khan with Mohammad Talha.
Sri Lanka should also retain the same eleven from the previous game.
