Ponting might return for 2013 Ashes - Cricket News
His career has hit a low with the second Ashes defeat on English soil, but Australian skipper Ricky Ponting remained defiant and hinted at coming back for the 2013 series to make amends for the twin debacles.

I was proud that the Oval crowd gave him a standing ovation when he came into bat and when he was out. Good on them and a fine reflection of the spirit of the game. A great player who I have to admit I have come to admire hugely during this series.
