Summary of the Match
What can you say about this game, it was dull all throughout excepting Mahela, Samaraweera and Younis Khan's efforts with the bat. All of them got hefty scores with the latter going on to hit a triple ton. This match was always destined to be a draw mainly for the pitch which was as dead as a dodo. However, the Pakistanis managed to cause a little scare in that dramatic final hour where they picked up wickets in a hurry to threaten Sri Lanka. But all's not that easy, picking up all ten in such short span doesn't happen always. Afterall, every day is not a Sunday. The PCB has already been slammed for the surface that had been prepared for the series opener. Hoping that the criticism would have been an eye-opener, let's look forward to the next Test and hope that it produces a result.
