Match Summary
What a dramatic test match this has been. When Sarwan and Chanderpaul were going on strongly, England were looking down the barrel. But they came back with Broad removing both of them within 8 overs of taking the 2nd new ball. It was always going to be difficult to survive with that kind of a batting line up and England then seemed to be on top. But the last pair hung around for ages to ensure that light is offered and they walk off. The clenching of fists and the hi fives are all testimony to the fact the West Indians are really delighted with the result. This means that they will go into the next match 1-0 up.

Ramnaresh Sarwan is the Man of the Match for his fantastic batting in both the innings. He scored a fine 94 in the 1st innings before throwing his wicket away but made amends for that in the second innings by getting his century. His partnership with Chanderpaul was a crucial for the West Indians.

I second that view. But all the same, rather irritating that it was a draw.

It use to happen with india in the past, they use to come so close to win the match rain use to interfere or something or the other thing use happen. The same is haunting England now. Best of luck to their next match. Though i am not a fan of england, but still i always want to see good cricket played.....
