Match Summary :That was a superb game of cricket. Australia batted first and never really got going. Some wagging by the tail helped them reach 181 and we were in for a dull game at the halfway stage. However, it was New Zealand’s turn to face the music as Australia bowled superbly choking the runflow and picking up wickets regularly. But a fine performance from Taylor with good support from the lower middle order, helped the Kiwis clinch a humdinger. We have a longish break for the 2nd ODI which will be played on 6th.
