Default Is T20 more batsman oriented?

When T20 began it was speculated that this format will be a graveyard for the bowlers.especially the art of spin bowling will become virtually useless for the captains. the reasons obviously wad that in 20 overs games only quick run making matters and keeping wickets in hand din't seem all that important. but what we see is completely different from this. bowlers like Harbhajan, Vettori, Ishant Sharma and even Yuvraj Singh etc have shown that even bowlers are an important part of this format.

In T20 WC 07,although Yuvraj hit 6 sixes to Broad in an over but then also bowlers like Umar Gul, RP Singh, Irfan Pathan, Stuart Clark were able to strike with handful wickets.During IPL 2, spinners played an extremely crucial role on the SA pitches.Spinners like Harbhajan Singh, Anil Kumble, Murali, Vettori performed really well. Most important to see was the part played by the part time bowlers like Yuvraj, Rohit, Raina, Duminy etc. Rohit & Yuvi stunned the cricket world with their hat-tricks.Batsmen are bound to make mistakes in the T20 in making quick runs.Spinners play crucial role in the middle stage of innings to decrease the run rate. The bowlers have equal chance to bowl their best and tough for the batsmen to score quick runs.

Well that is the fun about it. It's more like, let's see who can control hi temperament while bowling to the batsman who has already hit sixes and fours. It's more like, let's see who has enough brain power to trap batsman. It's like who has more attitude to demoralize a well set player. So, in a sense it looks like it's all about batting, but rather it's also about bowling and fielding and not to forget, umpiring!

In the initial stages T20 seems to be completely batsman game. But, as the time progreses bowlers are equally important to win a match. Hence, bowlers cannot be underestimated in this format...

There is nothing like T20 to be more batsman oriented. Its a game of strength and mental toughness. Which so ever team is strong and stable will win with command in all the departments batting, bowling and fielding.
