Well the way G Gambhir and RG Sharma opened the innings vs New Zealand I think shewaq isnt needed cause India has already superb combination.

he is not playing in the second warm up match against pakistan too. I hope India is having an alternative for him.

Sehwag has formed the bulwark of many of our matches. Often when we have said that he is not needed, he comes back and hits a great innings. He is needed, and I hope he gets well soon. We need all the batsmen we can get.

India might miss sehwag's cricket not only because of his play, but also as a senior player missing the team in guiding and boosting. Sehwag comes in a right time and helps India in at that moment. Hope he become fit soon and join the team.

the way rohit played against PAK he should open and sehwag should come in at #5. it will give the line up more depth
