Default Tiger Team & Fixture: T20 World Cup 2009

Bangladesh Tigers are all pumped up for the upcoming T20 world cup. The whole team has moved to England today (Team = yesterday, Ashraful + Mashrafe = today). The T20 World Cup is scheduled to start on June 5, 2009. Before the beginning of this tournament tigers will have the chance to play 5 practice matches. The target of the Bangladesh Cricket Team is to reach the second round of the tournament. But captain of the national team, Mohammad Ashraful has raised the bar a little. He hopes to reach the Semi-Finals of the T20 World Cup 2009. Bangladesh is in the Group A of this tournament.

June 14: A2 vs. C2 in London
June 14: A1 vs. B2 in London
June 15: B1 vs. A2 in London
June 16: D2 vs. A1 in Nottingham

June 18: 1st Semifinal in Nottingham
June 19: 2nd Semifinal in London

June 21: T20 World Cup 2009 Final in London

although the tigers have a good team and posted a good reply to aussie in the warm up game yesterday, they will find it hard to go upto the SF , however if they reach the SF this version is their best bet yet

They will reach in Super Eight. Now, If they beat India in First Round, they will have to play against second team of each group which will be more good then playing against top team of the group.

Although, reaching semi final looks very tough, if they reached, .........
