Match Summary
Well with that we come to the end of today's play. Virender Sehwag got out early in a silly run-out but after that it has been all India. Although not an eye-candy show, India has batted pretty sensibly realising that there's ample time left in the game. Gambhir, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid never needed to play rash shots, they batted with a lot of maturity and these substantial knocks have now ensured India of a strong position and promise them a big lead. Tendulkar is still there in the middle and he looks good for many more. New Zealand would want their strike bowlers to put up a consistent show, they got better with time today but the beginning was very lacklustre indeed. Play will start early tomorrow to make up for the lost overs.
