Ireland have produced another surprise beating Bangladesh by 6 wickets, finishing with 138/4 in 18.2 overs. They got off to a slow start and lost Jeremy Bray early. But Niall O'Brien scored a quickfire 40 off 25 balls to set the tone and from then on there was no looking back as they ensured the required rate did not get too big on at any stage in the innings. Towards the end it was Kevin O'Brien who scored 39 off just 17 balls and finished the match off in a hurry. This victory ensures Ireland of a place in the Super eight stages while it is the end of the road for Bangladesh who will be on their way home.

Do you think that it will have another surprise in super eight?

the irish are the bogey team in most major championships lately!, apart from beating bangladesh this time in T20 WC , the irish had some good scalps in the past too, notable is their knocking out Pakistan in the last world cup

Ireland outplayed Bangladesh & they were mere spectators. Ireland also played well in warm up matches. This are really good signs for them that they have advance to the next round and play food teams.
