Nobody expects India Pakistan matches to be one sided. They have always been known for fiery nail biting contests between them. Both the matches played between the sides in the last world T20 cup hold the spectators at the edge of their seats till the last over and the league match between them could not be decided even in the last over as it went on to a bowl out. However wednesday witnessed the opposite as India totally outperformed Pakistan, thanks to Rohit Sharma's blistering 80 runs knock that India manged to chase 159 with 3 overs to spare and 9 wickets intact.

Although losing the 1st wicket quickly, Pakistan was off to a flying start but Ishant sharma's 1st over turned out to be a decelerator in the Pakistan proceedings. Pakistan lost 2 wickets in this over which included sharp run-out from Suresh Raina. Moreover it was a maiden. From then on Pakistan kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Finally they managed to put up a respectable 158 on the board courtesy Misbah-ul-Haq and Younis Khan.

Let us not get complacent about this - which is what we tend to do. One victory does not mean that we are going to win the cup - though we hope we shall do so!! They will come back fired-up and fighting to regain their place.

It is to some extent true.India - Pakistan matches have also been close. They are really exciting to watch. But the last T20 was really one sided mainly because of the excellent batting performance by the Indian batsman.
